With the theme of "accelerating industrial transformation and upgrading, promoting green and low-carbon development", the conference attracted nearly 900 participants from domestic and foreign manufacturers, engineers and technicians, raw material suppliers, distributors, equipment manufacturers, and experts and scholars from the adhesive, sealant and adhesive tape industries.

Dr. Mao Xiulin, General Manager of Wuxi ATI Group Technology Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the meeting as an expert in the industry, and made a speech on the site of VOCs organic waste gas treatment in the coating and adhesive industries.
Brief introduction of waste gas in adhesive industry
Volatiles of adhesives are mainly benzene series, aldehydes, alcohols, styrene and other components, which can be applied to printing products, coated paper, plastic film and other industries. Because the ethyl acetate contained therein is a flammable component, VOC waste gas emissions during the production of adhesives are high, which will have a very important adverse impact on the surrounding environment. If the waste gas is not properly treated, it will also affect the health of employees and the normal life and social ecological environment of nearby residents. Therefore, waste gas from viscose products must be treated to meet the discharge standard.

Treatment route -- (air reduction and enrichment+) RTO (+waste heat recycling)

A high-tech material company in Zhejiang -- RTO+heat transfer oil waste heat recycling system
The customer currently has 5 coaters, including 3 Over coat lines and 2 Base coat lines. The detailed exhaust gas parameters are shown in the following table:
The waste gas entering RTO consists of ethyl acetate and ethyl lactate, without other trace elements. This part of the composition is organic, free of trace elements such as N and P, and free of benzene, toluene, xylene and other substances. The burner uses natural gas or the solvent specified by the customer as the fuel.
To sum up, the RTO outlet needs to monitor non methane total hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides. According to the analysis of inlet concentration and removal rate (99%), the total non methane hydrocarbon is less than 30mg/m ³, 50mg/m lower than environmental requirements ³。 For the emission of nitrogen oxides, according to the EIA document, the emission of nitrogen oxides does not need to be converted. According to more than 2000 projects completed in the United States and more than 300 RTO projects completed in China, the emission of nitrogen oxides is far below the emission standard.
The burner system adopts gas-liquid dual purpose burner, which is divided into three groups of pipelines, natural gas ignition pipeline, natural gas main pipeline and carbitol solution pipeline. Natural gas shall be used during normal startup and temperature rise. After the temperature exceeds 800 ℃, switch to the solvent pipe designated by the customer to consume the solvent designated by the customer.

As the concentration of waste gas is high and the waste heat value of waste gas is large, a set of heat transfer oil waste heat boiler system is designed according to the customer's requirements, including expansion tank, oil pump and oil storage tank, which are connected to the main pipeline of the existing heat transfer system. The power of heat transfer oil waste heat boiler is designed to be 2000kw.
Due to the high concentration of waste gas from customers, the waste heat recovered by RTO has completely replaced biomass boilers.
